Dual Gtx 970's in SLI WHAT MONITORS do you all use?

I asked this question a few days ago but no answer yet..so I'll try to not ramble on so much and keep it as short as I can..
For anyone with dual gpus, wether it be what I have (1 msi twin frozr 970, but want another) or even dual 780's/TI, 980's...what monitor setup do you all use? I have one measly 1080p 60hz but I'm reading that even 1080p @ 144hz would be overkill for dual 970's. But maybe someone does run dual gpus with a monitor like that and it works for them..which is why I need help. So please, pleaseeeee let me know what you all use (monitor wise obviously) for dual GPU's. Thanks!

The ROG monitor is a crappy TN Panel a good one but still crappy TN. If you want 60fps minimum in modern games then stick to dual 970s in SLI and a 60Hz 1080P monitor backed buy a fast Intel processor.

yeah, i was wondering about sticking to 1080P but a lot of forums were saying its overkill. as for my CPU, i own a sandy bridge i7 2600K which has been very good to me and dont see the need for an update yet. like i said, i want to SLI two gtx 970s, because thats just what my head tells me to do, wether or not its actually "over kill" but was just so confused on monitor choices.
