What sort of cable do I need for my monitor?

I have a new PC with a good monitor and I should be playing at over 100hz, (sometimes 200, It's a weird monitor) at 1080p in ultra graphics. What sort of cable would I need, HDMI, DVA. I've heard that I need a DVI-D cable, is this correct?

It will come with the most common cables. It should have one cable for each of the input ports it has.
