Should i keep MSI Z97 G45 gaming or get ASRock Fatal1ty Z97X

so i ended up picking new processor and mobo yesterday since they were on sale..bought 4790k along with MSI Z97 G45 gaming board..my question is should i keep the msi or get the asrock ..i can still return the msi and get the asrock ..they changed the price of the Asrock today and if i get it today it is only 5 dollars more than MSI..need some advice..

I doubt if you'll notice much difference between them. I wouldn't bother myself, but I know some people are picky about these things. I've never owned a board from either manufacturer, so I can't attest to their quality. I simply posted to give my opinion, not my advice. Good luck.

well i have owned Asrock for my Z77 3570k that i sold and had MSI for amd build..never had any problems with either board..

Well, if you're the type of person that cares about every little detail, it might be worth it to you (again, not attesting that one board is better than the other. I don't know their specs). Otherwise, I'd just keep the MSI and get that 4790K a ticking.

Why do people upgrade their motherboard when they can do other crazy stuff. SLI/Crossifre, SSD Raid 0 (not recommending), Open custom liquid cooling!
