triple monitor setup gcard upgrade is the 970 8gig still coming

i am currently running three 21.5 inch 108i max res monitors. i am staying with those however i had a two card sli with pny 770 gtx 2gb cards the triple fan model one failed and now im getting by just one card frame rate is fine for some of the older games i got on steam sale but im going to need to upgrade toone or more cards with more vram too keep this running

i havent heard any more news about the 8 gig cards comming and its past xmas currently posting on boxing day for those that celebrate that and i was aiming for a 970 with the 8gig vram but that is nowhere in sight

You'll still be fine with the 4GB cards. 4k requires roughly 3GB, you're running at 3k which won't use or need as much.
