Hi all,

As the subject suggests I am trying to future proof my new build so that I won't have to upgrade for a long time (kid on the way so can't afford it any more) and the below is my components list. Can I have advice on the build and parts Ive used and if you think it will last me 6+ years of 1080p gaming at ultra settings? Also do you think I will really save any money in the long run doing it this way or shall I just spend £800/1000 on a build and upgrade in a few years?

Thanks airforce101hd! Do you think if I get a 980 instead I won't have to upgrade for 6+ years? I would hope that in that time the only thing I would need to upgrade would be the GPU (get a new card or SLI) and take advantage of the 40 lanes of PCIe on the CPU.
