Leaving PC Dormant for a year

I'm going to be gone for about a year and I have a PC I built back in August. Is it going to be ok for me to shut it down and leave it off for a year?

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.5 GHZ
GPU: Gigabyte R9 270 GDDR5-2GB
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD
RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB Kit1600MHz DDR3
HD: WD Blue 1 TB Hard Drive 7200 RPM
Running Windows 7 64

No reason it shouldn't be ok.

Just make sure it's in a cool area with little moisture.

Yeah shut it down and store it in a nice dry place out of the elements and it will be fine. When you turn it back on in a year I'm sure there will be a lot of software updates : )

No problem, I would keep it in a cool dry place. So if storing in a storage unit I recommend not keeping it on the floor, ya never know.

The only issue you might have is the bios battery could die and might need replacing
