New memory issues!!!

i recently bought a set of LoVo - 16GB Kit* (2x8GB) - DDR3L 1600MHz Intel XMP for my computer running h55m-s2h intel motherboard, its supposed to take 16gb ram but when i put the new set in the computer will start up run fine for about 1 minute then crash??? the next time you go to start, it wont even make it to the desktop before turning off again. ive tried one stick at a time and in both slots. the only way ive been able to run it is to have one 8gb stick and one 2gb stick, computer reads 10gb ram now. but why wont it run with both the new sticks in??

Turn off power + unplug.
Install your 2x8GB RAM.
Clear CMOS.
Power-on.

Report back.

unfortunatly that has not fixed this problem. i wonder if i have one of those computers that need to have the battery out overnight.

The mobo takes up to 4GB stick, doesn't take 8GB....it's 2x4GB max

yea if you look online seems to say 8gb max but looking through the manual now says 16gb max. its got one 8gb and one 2gb ram stick in it now and its running fine.
is there any other reason why it wouldnt accept the ram or am i jsut an idiot and bought some really wrong ram?
