After centuries of researching, I have created my dream mini-itx gaming pc. I'm relatively new to computer building, and this will be my first build from scratch, so what I'm asking for here is advice or suggestions and such.
Build:
First of all, the power question. I checked my setup on eXtreme psu calculator and it recommended a 165w (115w minimum) psu AFTER I set the calculator to include 2 usb devices, 2 80mm fans, and 100% system load and cpu utilization. The picopsu comes with a 192w adapter that claims =>87% efficiency. 192 x 0.87 = 167.04, which is more than 165w. Not by much, but that is including 2 usbs and fans, and I will probably use only 1 usb and 1 fan, if that.
Also, should I get 1x8gb instead? so I can upgrade to 16gb later if I wanted? I always see gaming builds having 16gb of ram, but is it really needed?
ALSO, is an ssd worth the money? I'm definitely not buying one right now because I'm on a tight budget, but if it is worth it, I'll get like a 120gb later for booting.
Other than all that, advice is very welcome as this is will be first build from scratch.
