I've been meaning to build a portable powerhouse at around $1200. Why? I switch houses (via car of course) once a week, and will have to carry it up a flight of stairs, each time; and, I only have $1200 lol I say "only", it's still a lot. Some thoughts or critiques on the thing would be awesome, thanks!

I would recommend a smaller cooler, one of the only times I will do so.
The reason being the the larger the cooler, the higher chances of it shearing off of the motherboard during transport.
This likely wont happen, but it is something to consider.

Only other change, get a samsung SSD, the 840s are going for cheap right now.

It was an extra $20 but hey, the Samsung 840 evo is much more reliable than the Sandisk, thanks. Any recommendations on a heat sink?

The stock cooler would be the ideal "small" cooler.

The cooler you have is a good option, as most of the issues are with large air coolers such as the NH-d14.
That being said, the cooler does weigh close to 1kg with two fans on it, though it has a low center of gravity.
