Hello everyone!
I seem to have a serious problem with my PC. I recently changed its graphics card from Gigabyte GTX760 Rev 2.0 to MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G and now even though games like Battlefield 4 and Shadow of Mordor run much smoother, I experience random computer restarts while playing Far Cry 4 and actually while loading the title-screens of Assassin's Creed: Unity as well.
Some people have suggested me that it's probably my PSU acting up, but isn't the GTX760 as much demanding as the GTX970? I didn't have such problems with my old card. I also have the latest Bios (2.50) and Nvidia drivers (347.09).
Someone in this forum also suggested me to make a log file using hwinfo32 to see what's going on with my system, so here's a link to the file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/93ixa0yxicii5hf/Ruiner.CSV?dl=0
I'm really hoping that you can help me out so I could decide if I should return my graphics card or have my PSU checked up or even upgraded to a better one.
My system:
Intel, Core i5-4670 (3.4GHz, 6MB Cache, LGA1150);
MSI, GeForce GTX 970, 4GB, GDDR5, GAMING
Western Digital, 1TB, 7200rpm, 64MB, Sata III, Caviar Blu
Crucial Ballistix Sport, 8GB, DDR3, 1600MHz, CL9, Single stick
Asrock, Z87M Pro4
Inter-Tech, 650W, aPFC, 120mm fan
Kind regards,
Ruiner
