Tv wont display boot up process

Hi all, I swapped out my monitor for an hdtv, everything works great except it doesnt display any pc activity until windows is fully loaded. So no motherboard splash or windows logo, or if I wanted to use safemode I'd have to guess if the menu was up and blindly make a selection. So for now I keep my old monitor next to me so I can use it (it shows all the boot up info) if I need to do something before startup, but Id like to just have one display on my desk. I use one gtx295 for my gpu. Ive also googled and ran through a bunch of similiar issues on various forums but none of the fixes or exact issues have pertained to this one.

Hi, the TV might not support low resolutions, therefore the issue.
