Should I uninstall AMD Catalyst?

Today I upgraded the GPU in my girlfriends PC. When she bought her PC it came with an AMD GPU and AMD Catalyst. I got her a Nvidia GPU and it installed fine. However, I was having some resolution issues. I had to re-size the screen myself.

So I am wondering if I should uninstall AMD Catalyst because, maybe, AMD Catalyst is running some interference with Nvidia control panel. If I do uninstall it will it hurt her PC at all? She still has an AMD processor.

Yes, you should uninstall the AMD Catalyst by Guru3D - Driver Sweeper http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html and install the NVidia driver, don't matter what cpu the computer has.
