Just looking for some advice on a new build gaming PC. It's important to note that I already have a R9 290x Graphics card along with a Windows 8 disk.

Looking to get the best bang for my buck out of £700-800. Graphics card and Windows 8 already paid for.

Any suggestions for a good gaming build?

I don't know if you want to crossfire, but it will give you the best performance. Also, which r9 290x do you own?

If you don't want to oc you can decrease the price by a significant margin.

If I'm not going for a Crossfire configuration, would there be a cheaper but still suitable PSU you would recommend for this build taking into consideration the R9 290x - I'm guessing 1,000W isn't needed for a single one.

I'd personally get a 750W/650W XFX or 620W/720W Seasonic power supply.

I changed the RAM to 1600MHz CAS 7 RAM because in my opinion that's the best way to go for RAM.
