I usually have my computers built at a local computer shop but I am about to build one for my self.
There are a few things that keep coming up that I would like some advise with.

lets start with the hardware:
Thermaltake Core V71 Extreme Full Tower Chassis
ASUS X99-DELUXE LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99
Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3GHz LGA 2011-v3
CORSAIR Hydro Series H105 Extreme Performance 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler
G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2800
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Superclocked 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 ACX 2.0
Thermaltake Smart SP-650MPCBUS 650W Intel ATX 12V 2.3
SAMSUNG 850 Pro Series MZ-7KE256BW 2.5" 256GB
Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD5000HHTZ 500GB 10000 RPM 64MB Cache
LG Black Blu-ray Burner SATA WH16NS40
G.SKILL FTB-3500C5-D Fans (memory cooling)
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

Ive already purchased this equipment.

So what im looking to do is set up the HDD as my boot drive as I don't really care how fast the computer boots up. im hoping to leave the SSD open for games and other things that I want to run quickly.

My issues start with the bios,

Ive been reading about how to set up the bios and so far ive figured that I can set the hdd as the boot drive and set them both up as ACHI to keep them separate. As far as what other settings I need to change im not sure, I keep finding things on the web for older versions of windows or older versions of bios.

I don't want to miss anything which is what im worried about. I keep hearing about how I have to toggle this or that and change this setting and what not.

Id also love some advise on how to install all the components.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have not built a system with your components. In my last build, setting the correct boot disk and ACHI was about the ONLY thing I changed (H97 chipset) during the initial start-up and configuration process.
