Radeon 5850 resolution issues

i had a 5850 in my computer for a long time and it always fit my monitors resolution which was 1600x900. i decided to buy a 5770 and Crossfire them together, which ended up giving me a lot of complications so i took the 5770 out, but now my resolution will not fit at 1600x900. any tips?

its running 1980-1080 but i had to enlarge it in cc to fit my screen, still isnt correct though

Wait your screen is 1600x900 why would you set to display 1980-1080?

cause 1600x900 doesnt even come close to fitting. the 1980 was the closest. idk why, cause the 1600x900 used to be perfect

Well, first off you can't Crossfire a 5850 with a 5770, you can only Crossfire cards of the same series eg. 5770 and 5750 or 5870 and 5850.

As for your problem, you are probably having issues with your overscan settings. Reset your monitor back to 1600x900, and then go into Catalyst Control Center and under 'My Digital Flat Panels' there should be an overscan slider on one of the screens, adjust that slider until the image fits.
