Hi, I'm new to this community and would appreciate your input if you know the trick. I just bought the Motorola SBG6580 modem which has the built-in wireless router (supports both 5.0 and 2.4 GHZ). I want to connect my existing DLINK DIR-655 2.4 GHZ wireless router to it as a secondary network so I could enjoy both 5.0 from SBG and 2.4 from DLINK wireless coverage in the house. The 5.0 speed is stunning fast but I have a lot of devices can only run on 2.4 GHZ only. I understand I need to disable DHCP on DLINK and assign a static IP to it but it still not working. I wonder if there is any configuration I need to do on DLINK other than that. Thanks in advance for your help!
