My old motherboard sadly broke so i am going to buy an asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0 am3+ for my fx6300.

1.How do i know which one is dead,my motherboard or my processor?
When i plug in my monitor and turn it on i get no beeps and no display, the memoryOK! led is green.
3.Do i have to plug in my powersupply into the wall and then connect me to the PSU or should i let it unplugged? (It is already installed in the case)
4.Is that motherboard good for overclocking?Maybe to 4ghz?Is it good cooled?

Personally I don't get any beeps through my X99 mobo.

The display side of things, might be a bad question to ask but is it plugged into your motherboard or a graphics card>

I presume not.

If it cannot display ANYTHING then it is a motherboard fault however if it isn't beeping at all then I'd presume it'd also be a motherboard fault.

Generally you'd get a blue screen if you cooked your processor, I'd be one to know!

haha, I almost fried my 5930K a month back, absolutely shat myself after as it wouldn't start but I forgot my RAM was faster than the board could handle so I had to let it underclock!
