Horizontal static lines flickering when playing games

Hi guys gota problem with my screen.while playing games these horizontal lines starts flickering on screen they are mostly visible in darker place of the games.it only happens when playing games watching video,surfing web are all fine.

Sys specs.

Cpu-Amd fx 6300 Black edtion
Mobo-Msi 990fxa-gd65 v2
GPU-sapphire R9 270x oc edition
Ram-Corsair vengeance 4gb 1×4
PSU-Seasonic b500 v2
Monitor-18.5 inch 1366x768 max res

I am also using a dvi to vga adapter because my monitor only has vga port.

First make sure the video card, video cable and adapter are inserted properly.

Uninstall current video card driver.
Boot computer into Safe Mode.
Run this utility to thoroughly remove all traces of AMD video drivers.
Reboot computer in normal mode.
Install latest video card drivers and reboot (if required).
Try running games again.

If there are still issues with the horizontal lines, try another video card (at hand or borrow one; and uninstall video drivers thoroughly and install drivers appropriate to the other video card if required). If the games run without the horizontal lines appearing then the original video card is faulty.

Unstalled the driver check the cable installed the latest drivers but the problem is still there should i plug the HDMI cable rather than using dvi to vga adapter.

Yes. Try changing connectors/cables.

Try to overclock 2D shapes in gcard tweaker for 100 mhz and it should be fine if not idk.

fixed it the dvi to vga adapter was causing the problem HDMI fixed it and thanks for the suggestions folks
