Three monitor setup GTX670

i'm trying to set up three monitors to my GTX670

I have a digital monitor, and two analogue, all work fine as I have had them working with the PC in various compinations.
I tried to use the HDMI and both DVI ports on the card, the monitor connected to the DVI-I port detected, but nothing would be displayed, I took out the HDMI and noticed the monitor popped into life.
Why is this? would it do the same thing with the Displayport, as thats what im thinking of trying next, with one in the DVI-D, DVI-I and Displayport, any reason for that not to work?

Your card can only run one analogue monitor at a time.

I doubt that the graphics card will work with three monitors like Mousemonkey already stated.

The card can run four monitors simultaneously but only one of them can be a VGA.
