Random extreme lag while playing BF4

Hello everyone, I've been playing BF4 for 2-3 weeks and the game ran great, but for the past week, I've been experiencing random moments where I lag for a time, and in some cases get kicked from the server. Originally, I thought it was my graphics card not being able to keep up with things that go on, but even on low it happened. I don't know if it's my processor, but I doubt it is as it ran smoothly before this began occurring. I've been looking around on other threads, but I haven't found a solution for this issue. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Used speedtest and apparantly my ping is 25ms, download speed is 16.32 mbps, and upload speed is .99mbps. Is this good, bad, or what? By the way, I apologize for not answering sooner.

Possibly anyway thanks. Lag spikes have reduced a bit but it is what it is. Thanks. I do plan on building a my 1st pc once i have enough money, which will likely be in 1-2 months, which should run it with little to no problem.

If your signature is correct, then your CPU is a dual core that launched in 2006 according to Intel's site... it's no wonder you're having problems!

As for the parts you posted, they look pretty good to me. Definitely shouldn't have any major problems running BF4, although BF4 by its nature has optimization issues across a ton of PCs and DICE can only do so much to make the game run smoother.

Right now I currently have around $300 saved up so I can always just wait a bit longer and invest more into it. This will be my first build so I was originally going for a budget build ($600) but I've just kept adding better hardware and all so I may as well(currently $910.75 with the i5-4690K), but I'll see in a months or so once I have enough saved up.
