Concerning FPS on different displays

Hi guys!
I'm planning to buy a 1080p display to replace my old 1280x1024 monitor. How much of an FPS decrease in games should I expect?

System specifications:
Sapphire R9 Dual-X 270 2 GB
Intel Core i5-4570 @ 3.2 GHz
8 GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit

it shouldn't be that big of a hit in fps, i wouldn't worry that much. i'm basing that on a 270x which is just a few fps more than the 270.so no sweating it @ 1080p
