I currently think about ASUS VG248QE or one of BenQ's monitor. I also consider the Eizo Fortis but it is pricy - though worth it? because it has no Gsqync and only 120Hz and not 144Hz if I'll end up not liking the lightboost effect.

I'm planning getting my monitor next week so any suggestions would be awesome.

I currently have the ASUS VG248QE, trust me when i say it is life changing. The colours are extremely vibrant which i love and the monitor supports the NVIDEA 3D Vision which you can pick up for around $100 at a later date. I would 100% recommend this monitor to anyone.

Just this second my friend who is a person that deals with computers recommended me about this screen: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0ZX1CA5641&cm_re=XL2420Z-_-24-014-370-_-Product

claiming that the BenQ "motion blur reduction" is better than Asus's lightboost "hack", the BenQ feature it a strobe backlight so am I right??
Also he said the the brightness problem is mush less noticeable on the BenQ and these 2 reasons is why I should get the BenQ, is that right?
