Maybe get an I7. That power supply is overkill too. What games to you want to run? If you want me to tomorrow I can build my recommendation for a build. Until then Good Night

I'm looking at making this computer a beast for gaming . I want to run games like metro:last light(my benchmark game) at ultra 60fps , Battlefield 4 at 60fps , The Crew ultra 60fps , etc etc . If you have the time to make me a build to I would love that .

Okay! 1 Question... AMD or Intel? I will start out with Intel because that is what you have currently!

Your build went considerably over your stated budget. I also wouldn't pair a Z87 chipset motherboard with a Haswell refresh CPU. The liquid cooler isn't really needed and the Corsair CX line of PSUs are their budget line. You would want a higher quality PSU to power the system. Here's my take on a build that comes in right at $1500 before MIRs:

I know liquid cooling isn't needed , but I've never messed around with it before so I would like to have it . That is the exact reason i chose the Phanteks Pro case , but yes my build did go over my budget unfortunately . I will change my motherboard though . Being fairly new to creating conputers (with only one under my belt) this is quite the tedious process . This forum is amazing though

That is a great build for sure . I will have to think about which components I want to keep and way out my options. I`m super glad you put in the wireless adapter . I can not believe I forgot about that xD
Thank you for taking time out of your day to make this build .
