I recently bought a GTX 770, refurbished for $250. 2GB, 256bit, great core and memory speeds.
Question: Should I trade it in for a GTX 960, brand new for $200, 2GB, 128bit, even better core and memory speeds than 770.
Kicker: I'm concerned about the lesser memory interface of the 960, BUT I'm on an older motherboard (socket 1366, X58 chipset) and older CPU (i7-940) and still using PCI-E 2.0. Would it be a downgrade to get the 960 with lesser memory interface on my system or would the higher clocks of the 960 be an upgrade?
P.S. I'm not planning on upgrading CPU or motherboard. I play Counter Strike:GO, StarCraft II, various Blizzard games and Bioshock series. Thanks for feedback!!
