Need help choosing a 144hz monitor for my AMD GPU.

Hi, I've been reading around and have seen many different arguments between the ASUS VG248Q and the BenQ XL2411z monitors. I also caught the mention of the monitors not being as "optimized" software-wise with AMD graphics cards. Can someone explain the main differences between these monitors and what 144hz monitor would best suit my Gigabyte R9 280x? I'd prefer the most budget-minded 144hz monitor I can get. Planning on upgrading from the 60hz race.

Reading @i7Baby article I found the AOC G2460PQU. "If you’re interested in saving a chunk of change or use an AMD graphics card, the 24-inch, 144Hz G2460PQU merits serious consideration instead."
