You have massive overkill on the power supply, the case is massive overkill, no need of more than 8GB of memory, i7 not need, way overpriced motherboard with a ton of bad reviews.
Most of your gaming performance is going to come from the video card and a 760 is not the level of performance you should be looking at since your already will ing to spend a ton of money for no performance increase.

I'd change the Motherboard into the Maximus VII Hero. This motherboard has a lot of gaming features, such as RAMDisks, Sonic Radar, Gaming dedicated bandwidth software etc... Its also very durable using components to ensure the motherboard will last for a long time. Furthermore Overclocking in this motherboard is VERY easy and painless. This motherboard is favoured amongst many gamers with a high budget so if I were you I'd suggest you buy this motherboard.

Oh and the chipset and Audio processor on the motherboard lights up too!

In terms of the CPU I'd suggest you buy the Intel core i5 4690k. Yes its less powerful than the i7 you chose but its cheaper and it has almost the same performance as the i7 in gaming. The i5 is the best bang for you buck.

I suggested this to him if he had a high budget, the features that comes with the board are very useful in gaming. But if you think thats a waste of money, I'd suggest the OP to go with the Asus Z97 A. Its a great all around board, but does not come with the gaming features the ROG board provides.

ROG is one of the biggest scams Asus has way over priced for features that will make little to no difference.
The Z97A is not a good board it has several issues and uses lower quality components than a lower priced board.
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz97xud3hbk 5 year warrant with all the highest quality parts your not paying for the Asus name.
