What To Buy First? Graphics Card or Monitor?

Hello PC World!

I'm having a difficult time deciding which product to get first. I'm debating between a GTX 970 (Graphics Card) and an ASUS VG248QE 24-Inch LED Monitor. Which product do you recommend getting first?

P.S- I'm getting an Intel i5 with integrated graphics.

Get the GPU first. If you're planning to game, you're not going to get very far with only integrated graphics.

Why such an expensive monitor. If you're not a visual snob, get two decent spec'ed monitors for the same price. As for what you get first, why would you get one without the other? And do you have a monitor for the meantime? If not get the monitor lol. Then at least you can use the computer.
