Hey everyone,
So I'm new to pc building and could do with some advice on what components to buy.

So, here is the part list on PCPartpicker:
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Fr2tsY

I am aiming to be playing games like Battlefield 4, Call of Duty and other fps titles like that on ultra/high settings at around 60FPS+.

As I don't have that much experience, I am requesting for some 'professional advice'.

Thanks in advance for any feedback,
-Dan

What is your total budget?

I upgraded the PSU (CX series isn't for gaming builds) and upgraded the GPU.

Grab a CPU cooler if you are overclocking.

Thanks for the reply.

My price is about £650.
I'm looking to have this as my base computer, to then update individual parts when I can. So I may get a CPU cooler when I need to overclock, but as of now, I think the CPU I have now will support the games I'll want to play at an okay quality.

The HDD Hard Drive is also something that I could invest in later on, as I'm looking more into cloud storage, instead of local drive storage.

Could you give me a rough estimate on games like battlefield 4 with my original specs. Or link me to some benchmarks?
Thanks

In my opinion the CX series shouldn't be used at all due to the fact that they have poor capacitors.

They're fine for office builds, where they aren't being pushed. They aren't burn-your-house-down PSU's and still have some OK uses, though there are of course better alternatives at low prices.

I'm also debating about the GTX 760, but has recently gone up in price, and the 960 gone down. What are your thoughts on the 760? And what other GPUs do you recommend at around the 200- mark?
