these options you mention are good however with your hardware you will be struggling at such resolution, unless you are planning an upgrade in the near future.! sticking with your current hardware though, the folowing are more reasonable options!

Are you sure it would be a struggle to run at that resolution with my hardwhere?
Even if i used that resolution on my desktop but played the games in windowed mode at 1920x1080?
 
with ''struggle'' i mean you will need to compromise with lower settings at 1440p with the majority of games to achieve fluid gameplay.! however if that isnt a problem for you, i guess 1440p can be an option.! i would avoid playing with anything other than the native resolution. you will experience blurring image , and worsen even more the overal quality!
