Dell Ultrasharp U2414H are they good gaming monitors

as well as color? im looking for the best monitor in the 250-350 price point. fps a or is there anything i should know as far as brightness and such for a Dell Ultrasharp U2414H and speed is ok for gaming i game a lot however when gaming I really enjoy color and detail over fps are there iny choice monitors in that price range that came out withen the past year maybe 2 a recommendation or 2 would be much apprciated

It's pretty good, especially since it's a ISP as well. However 8ms is really long for response time especially if you want to game.

Since you have a pretty good budget to get a great monitor I'd go for something like this; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236302

It has the same amount of colors, it's 27 inches with 1ms response rate. It's also only $10 more.
