I've had an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 for many years but it has died.
What should I replace it with?
I'd like to keep all my other components for now...the chip is now a little old but I'm hoping some of the newer Intel chipset Mobos still work with an old war-horse like the 950..thanks for your recommendations.

CPU Intel Core i7-950 3.06GHz LGA1366 (X58 Chipset)
PSU corsair 850W Ultra
Ram Corsair 6GB 1333MHz DDR3 CL9
GPU: GeForce GTX275 896MB

update: OS is Win 8.1 64 .. I like to use an external USB WiFi connector.

Unfortunately not man :/. You still have a vey good processor, I see people pairing the i7 920 with a 270x and running some newer games at ultra with no problem. Its up to you if you wish to upgrade to a newer socket or keep the current one and invest into a new motherboard.

Well your mention of the 270x is very timely Dio, it turns out the MoBo is good, it's my GPU that died. Farewell old comrade GeForce 275 . . .

Well go for the 270x. It will function really good until you can upgrade to a better platform!
