Hello community,
I recently bought a Gigabyte R9 280x, I use an old monitor that only has VGA cable.
How do you recomend it would be the best way to connect this monitor to graphic card?

Solution
Get a DVI to VGA adapter. (Which one to get depends on if you want to use a DVI cable or VGA cable.)

In theory you can do it with a HDMI to VGA adapter. But HDMI carries audio along with the video, and you may lose audio out to the speakers if you do this via HDMI out. Displayport to VGA will work too, but is a lot more expensive.

Edit: Dig through the box your video card came in. Some of them come with a DVI to VGA adapter.

Well it has a DVI-I so you can get a DVI-I to VGA converter anywhere.
