Video/Photo editing and gaming pc around 1000$

Hi guys! I'm currently a imac (late 2009) user and it's getting outdated in term of speed and power. I'm might be looking to build myself a PC since it might come a lot cheaper than a new imac. I will be using it mostly for video/photo editing and gaming. I might be streaming a little while i game too. I might start editing 2.5/4K video in a while so maybe have something i can upgrade further down the road. I'm looking to pay around 1000$

You are going to want something with a lot of power then. I would recommend a i7 CPU so that you have more threads to stream. You are also going to want a video card that has a lot of VRAM and a decent processor on it. Make sure the i7 is fast to work with gaming as well.

I recommend the i7 4790K and perhaps a GTX card with at least 4GB of VRAM. The 770 and 760 both fit the bill, but are not the best for gaming at a high res. For 4K gaming, go with the GTX980 4GB.

Not the 760, sorry I thought that had more VRAM
