Buy a 2nd 1920x1080 monitor or buy a 27" 2560x1080p monitor?

Hello

I have a chance to buy a discounted 27" Asus PB278Q 2560x1440 monitor.
It is the last one in the store, apparently Asus is discontinuing the model. Its the floor model and don't know how long its been on. The manager said it maybe has been on 8 hours a day for the past few months. Still has normal warranty. I am just concerned about it being a floor model.
Is this a good buy?

My GTX660 will do fine for it right now. When I game on it Ill Change the resolution. Later I will buy a better gpu.

Or should I go with a 2nd 23" 1920x1080 monitor?

I will game, do graphic design, 3D design and rendering and video editing.

I'd love to have one, but I prefer the additional space of a second (and even third) monitor - lthat's just me though
