Dual monitor setup problem.

Ummm DVI-D does work for video? All DVI's work for video. What matter is if you use a DVI to VGA Adapter then you want DVI-I and not DVI-D because it wont work. But if you are just using DVI it should work without issue.

Need to explain more with what is going on.

It works, but its not dual displays. it stretches the whole entire display on both monitors, which is a no no lol.

ok so its mirroring the monitors so it shows the same thing on both monitors right? Easy fix.

Right click on the Desktop, Click on Screen Resolution (Vista and up) or Properties (XP and under) and then it should show the two displays. There should be a drop down menu that is set to Mirroring. select Extend. and Apply. You should then have two screens.
