Ok guys, this is my first computer build. Im not necessarily a newb to the computer
I just dont keep up to date with hardware.
What im planning on doing is to use my engineering software from school, solidworks, visual studies, bender, cs14, and others; while im still capable of playing games at low frame rates such as Dying Light and Grid.
One of my friends told me i wouldnt be able to build a computer to handle both for under 1000; im looking to spend around 700-750. This is just for the tower.
After doing numerous research; i decided a AMD Fx- 6350 paired with a ASROCK motherboard and MSI r9-290 graphics card would be my best bet.
Yes im planning to over-clock this setup but not before i finish getting a new monitor and some more powerful cooling fans for the processor and tower.

Constructive criticism is appreciated..
