I need some advice on choosing between 2 monitors

Hi there
I'm looking for a new monitor. I'm thinking between ASUS VX279Q and Samsung LS27D590PS. Which one has better image quality, contrast ratio, color accuracy and overall build quality and life spam. I'm open to new suggestions as long as the monitor is 26" or more.

I'm a fan of Samsung but I will recommend you the ASUS one. I've checked their monitor on their official website, and saw the ASUS on their official page on a second tab and made a comparison.

While they have pretty much Identical quality, the ASUS monitor supports more Interface ports

They actualy both have 2 HDMI ports 1 VGA port and 3.5mm jack output. Samsung only doesnt have 3.5mm jack input, which is not a problem for me. For me its all about screen quality and its reliability. I heard something about dead pixels in that Samsung monitor. Samsung costs 330$. Asus is 380$. Is Asus worth that extra 50$?

They seem pretty identical. I don't notice a huge difference...
But in my experience Samsung exceed in overal quality. Sorry for not being helpful enough
