Hi Everyone I have a gtx 780 ti EVGA Superclock running at 1.35 and 7ghz and was wondering, as I have been offered 400 for my card... should I sell and upgrade (sideways) to gtx 970? Or maybe get a 290x(my motherboard only supports crossfire)?

Ive also got to buy a monitor. I have in my power to buy any of the below as I cant make up my stupid mind.

Acer XB280HK - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009658
QNIX * QX2710 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/321590995266?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Sceptre 49" Class 4K UHD - http://www.ebay.com/itm/231458489037?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Acer 27" LED Widescreen Monitor | XB270H - http://www.ebay.com/itm/261660048351?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Ive also considerd getting a 29" Ultrawide display but, Ive not really seen alot of people jazzed about the size difference. The 34" is attractive but pretty pricey.

Anywho, answer all or any of my questions I would REALLY appreciate it, even if it is just "chill out..."

+1 for QNIX, I use it and it's great. I would go with a 27" 1440p over the 29" wide screens (not enough vertical space). Like you said the 34" widescreen 1440p are amazing but too expensive for most people.

I don't have a strong opinion on your card question though.

If you have a buyer then go for it. At 1440p your still better off with the 970, the 290x would be better at 4k, but either one will give you really good performance.
