i got intel core i5 is there a chance to upgrade latest cpu i7 or unlock setting in bios?

i just wanna learn as laptop seem bit hard to overclocked..funny things that smart phone galaxy s4 s5 i have done overclocked just 0.50ghz extra as not wanna hurting the hardware motherbroad... why mod bios is hard?? i just wana unlock bios but not wana break the bios so i be <<edited for content by moderator>> lol

im using sony vaio vpccb45fg.. i upgraded 4gb to 8gb ram...window 7 64bit.. cpu is intel core i5-2450 2.50ghz i wana reach 3.20ghz or whatever that motherbroad can handle? overclocked or upgrade cpu which better?

can any one edit to unlock all setting in bios for me as im trying find rom to flash bios..
i just wana take full control cpu gpu fan speed ects

please help me im not that geek just like overclock make it faster and running sweet

First, Intel has locked and unlocked multiplier CPUs which yours looks to be locked. Second, you never want to over clock on a laptop because the cooling systems on laptops can't handle it and it drain your battery so fast and I am not sure the VRMs can handle it.

For the most part you can not upgrade CPUs on laptops unless you have experience with ball soldered CPUs and an alignment tool to ensure the CPU is lined up properly. There are some laptops that have sockets for these kinds of CPUs and if yours is one you will need to know what CPUs are compatible with your motherboard...

All of that being said your CPU does seem to have a 3.1 Turbo which you should see when the CPU is under load. If your turbo is not working try this...
