Will my Sapphire R9 290 Tri-x work with Cooler master 600W Psu

I bought a R9 290 the other day and i want to know is it safe to run with my cooler master 600W PSU

- fx 8320
- 8GB Ram
- Asrock 960 Mobo

Can you post the exact model PSU since they make a few different 600w models? You need 31A on the 12v rail and 550w minimum to run the 290.

Yes, it will work with your PSU.

I tried, I took the xfx hd 7700 and put in the 290, when it detected the device it restarted and i logged in. About 20-30 seconds later i got a black screen and the my pc rebooted.. This happened 4 or 5 times after . I turned off the onboard graphice in my BIOS and still the same thing. I didnt even install the drivers off the disc. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help by the way.
