Hi,

For a few months now my PC has been freezing as I watched a YouTube video (or any videos, as a matter of fact,) requiring me to manually restart the computer by pressing down the power button.

Now, it seems to happen on its own when I am doing anything that actually uses the PC, such as playing games or watching streams. Usually after restarting it it'd be fine for a while but now when I restart it my monitor simply doesn't display anything, making me wait around 10 minutes before it'll decide to work normally.

I've tried:

  • Removing old hard drives
Switching my OS to another hard drive and removing the main one
    Re-installing the OS
Switching CPU fans and applying thermal paste

I'm not sure what else I could do, I very much need your help as this has been bothering me for a while now.

Here are my specs:

Windows 8.1
x64-based PC
AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor, 4000 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date: American Megatrends Inc. 2006, 10/1/2013
BIOS Mode: UEFI
BaseBoard Manufacturer : ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 TI
Sound Driver: Realtek Digital Output
Disk Drive: INTEL SSDSC2CW120A3 SATA Disk Device
Power Supply: ThermalTake TR2 500W

Thanks.

I don't believe that's the case, as audio stops playing as well. It's a complete freeze.

Ok. I'll try that and see if it helps, thanks.

Alright, I checked today and my motherboard has no onboard video chipset. Sorry for the delay, by the way.
