I would like to get suggestions about getting a new PC or upgrading my current one.

I have started to save some money up and I play quite allot on my computer(most of my free time) so I thought about upgrading it with some high price components or just buy a new one what should I do fellas?

My PC specs: Intel core I5 - 2400 3.10GHz, 4GB RAM, GeForce GTX 750 Ti (EVGA) and a Gigabyte motherboard h67m-d2-b3 which I dont know really if a motherboard is really necessary to upgrade, will it give me any performance boost somehow?

My price pool is 1,300$ max.

Sorry if my English is not good it's not my main language.

You'll have to upgrade the motherboard because it doesnt support the sockets for something like a i7 4790k or a i5 4690k. And then you can get a aftermarket cooler for overclocking
, while you're at it you might want to upgrade your ram to 8gbs of ram. and you can stand to upgrade to a gtx 980 or something.

Will it worth the money to upgrade to the I5 4960k?

Yes, the I5 4690k is already about 30% faster than a i5 2400 and it also has the ability to be overclocked, making it about double the performance of an i5 2400
