Can 2 GTX 970's in SLI handle a surround 2560x1440p monitor setup?

Solution
I wouldn't recommend getting a pair of gtx 970 specially in light of nvidia falsely advertised specs, for the amount you'd pay for two gtx 970's you could get and amd r9 295x2 which is at an all time low for around 600 dollars. Also keep in mind that doing a sli setup doesnt give you more memory it just enhances performance. So you'd be saving money get more memory and get way better performance, you'll also avoid sli configuration issues since you'd only have one card. The r9 295x2 could handle multiple 4k monitor without breaking a sweat; as of graphics go right now this is the leading performer taking price into account.

anyway let me not bore you to death with all this chatter, check it out...

Thanks! I know that the R9 295x2 has really big TDP, but I think it'd be worth it for the power it carries. I'd have to change my PSU choice though. But I can work my budget. Thanks again!
