best memory for the buck

I could really use some help, I'm trying to find some good memory to use for the rig I'm trying to put together for gaming.

I used to be convinced I needed the newest and greatest by getting the x99 mobo and relative components but everyone said that was too much overkill unfortunately. if you guys could tell me what I should add? take away? change? mainly just need to know what the best memory I should use for that build, but any advice is greatly appreciated.
