Best screen resolution for my 20inch monitor and my eye?

What's the best resolution for a 20inch monitor? A comfortable resolution for my eye? my pc recommends 1600X900 but it's so damn hard to read with this resolution and it also hurt my eyes.

the best would be the monitors natural resolution, which i assume will be the recommended setting

You can easily change the resolution to a lower resolution if u want the texts and icons a little bit bigger,

U can change the resolution in ur own way,

P.S: i prefer the recommended one but unfortunately if u cant see texts or icons,there is a tool u have in the start menu called Magnifier, that would be helpful.

Which version of windows are you running?

You can increase dots per inch and that will increase the font size and everything else.

Ok here is instructions on how to make the fonts/icons/etc bigger without decreasing the resolution which would reduce the crispness of the screen.
