Hi guys, maybe you can share your highest clock and voltage when overclocking your i7.

Also include your Cooler.

I will start with mine.

4.8Ghz @ 1.29V
Scythe Kantana (dual fan) Air cooler

5.0ghz @ 1.37v. Once I start anything mildly cpu related my temperatures skyrocket to >90C, though. Else, 4.8ghz at 1.3v. It doesn't really like to do 4.9ghz.

But since I only have a scythe mugen 4 and hate high rmp I usually only run it at 4.0 or 4.6ghz (1.05v/1.2v).

4.7Ghz @ 1.24V
Corsair h100i in push/pull

i can get 5.0Ghz @ 1.38V but im looking to keep my chip for as long as possible so 4.7 is where it'll stay :D

if you download intel's XTU utility (Extreme Tuning Utility), one nice feature is that once you've run a benchmark test there's an option to compare your results onlline with others - one clik and it loads your score and shows it on a graph with others - on that graph you can select just 4790K CPUs, and once you've narrowed it down to those, you can then view and download the settings they used to hit the score they did. When you hover over their score you'll see the percentage of applicability to your setup, ie mobo, ram etc

4.9ghz @ 1.405v Adaptive and then negative offset .015. Found my chip stable about 1.38 but wanted to lower my non-turbo voltage

Was googling something else and found this thread lol.

I can get 4.9 @ 1.3 vcore, but temps exceeded 80 C (Hottest core got to 82 C)
I have since moved and the new place I'm at is warmer, so I can only do 4.7 @ 1.235 due to temperature constraints.
(Currently hit 81 on my hottest core)

Using a LEPA Aquachanger 240.

Just for data reasons, here are my tables of lowest stable vcore, with temperatures (From before I moved)
4.7 @ 1.225 73-75-74-67
4.8 @ 1.265 75-77-76-69
4.9 @ 1.300 81-82-82-72

Never bothered to lower voltage on anything under 4.7.
