27 inch 1080p monitor or 32 inch 720p led tv for gaming & watching movies ??

i'm currently using a 720p 18.5 inch monitor..wanna buy new..but i am unable to decide between a 1080p 27 inch monitor or 720p 32 inch led tv !! i wanna buy for mainly gaming,watching movies..my watching distance is maybe 1 feet.my specs are : fx 6300, 8 gb ram,r9 280x,corsair tx v2 750..please need help !!

Get a 24in 1080p monitor. Anything bigger will look super pixelated from 1ft away.

Agreed with i7Baby. The difference between 720p and 1080p is very noticeable. You'll be a lot happier with those extra pixels.

u sure that i should go with 24 inch 1080p?? as i want the bigger monitor for gaming..that's why i thought of 27 inch 1080p ?? how about 27 inch 1080p led instead of 24 inch 1080p ??? is 27 inch 1080p good from 1 feet away ??

If you have a bigger monitor you'll want to push it further away so you won't have to move your eyes and head from side to side to see what's going on.

If you aren't generally picky about things like that, 1080p looks good on a 27". People usually prefer a lot of pixels crammed into a small screen, rather than a large screen, as it gives a much sharper look.

But if you're indifferent about it, and want a larger screen, go for it.

Avoid the 720p TV, or any TV all together. Most TV's have about a 3% overscan on all the sides, which means you have to go into desktop resizing, which screws up your picture.

Get the 1080p monitor.

I have a sony 32 inch 720p. I sit 6 feet away cuz sitting 1 feet away is riduclous.
So whats the experience?.
I am enjoying it more than my 22 inch monitor as image is bigger and immersive.

Btw from 6 feet u cant tell difference b/w 1080p and 720p
