World of Warcraft: i5 vs i7 discussion

Hi,
I am looking to buy a new computer and was wondering if the new expansion (Warlods of Draenor) is more CPU intensive (and would feel best if a i7 would power it) or if its more heavy on the Gfx or RAM ?

You won't get any extra gaming performance from upgrading to an i7. Most of the time the i5 is equal or even better as hyper threading can sometimes mess with a games frame rate.

Pretty sure Wow can only utilise 2 cores anyway!

I run both, an i7 rig and an i5 rig and other than being alot smoother, you wont notice much extra gaming performance. As Matt said, i5 can be considered equal or even better than i7.
