AMD FX-6300 + Galax GeForce GTX 970 or an Intel i5 (Which one?) + MSI GTX 960

I'm building a PC for mainly gaming (CS:GO, H1Z1, CoD: AW, BF4, GTAV etc...) and i'm not really sure which one of those above will be better for gaming and little livestreaming. Also, i'm trying to find a good monitor for gaming under 150 bucks. I will be overclocking quite heavily, CPU and GPU and also, i'd like some suggestions for the motherboard!

So please help, and make other suggestions I don't have an endless budget (400-ish bucks for CPU and GPU)

Lol anyone read about direct x 12? Clearly not. It's supposed to give a huge bump in support and performance for and multi core CPUs by more evenly spreading the work load across all cores so the more cores the better. I say if you can maybe wait for direct x 12 to drop with windows 10 and see some benchmarks. The 6300 May very well perform as good or better than the i5 listed. I'm an Intel fan boy but if with windows 10 and DX12 more cores is gonna be better that makes the 6300 a better choice possibly.

Id go with the 970 if ur mainly using it for gaming
