Problems with Ubisoft games on AMD R9 280 3GB?

At first I thought is was a bad bottleneck which was half correct as I do experience a bit. Some games would run perfect on ultra such as Project Cars, The Pre Sequel, Battlefield 3 and 4 , Call of duty Ghosts (can't remember what Advanced Warfare ran like). But I would experience some issues with other games Watch Dogs-this ran better on my old GTX 650?, Assassins Creed Black Flag- This also ran better on the 650, Far cry 3 and 4 same here too , Assassins Creed Unity- well this game dosnt even count its pretty bad on every pc but yeah anyway ill leave a few dxdiag screen shots for the specs and what not but please this is annoying me now I need some kind of fix if possible i've spent hours trying to fix this.

Idk, i push 50fps with my 280X in ACU or FC4 maxed. What's the rest of your system?

asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0
XFX 550w core pro edition psu
NZXT S340 case
4x 120mm artic cool fans
Zalman cnpsx5 CPU cooler

Btw the GPU is nearly brandnew

CPU bottleneck mate, fx 4xx just cant handle those kinda games. Look how your CPU compare to Intel...

I would save up for something like H97+i5. Your fps will double...Until then you can try overclocking some more.

R9 280 is really capable card paired with good CPU.

Well like you see in the chart it would help but still lagging behind i5's. AMD just isnt good in singlethreaded apps and games are just that.

your CPU is bottlenecking, go with a fx 8320 or fx 8350, there amazing CPU's and will cost half of intel's CPU's and will perform a little slower and will still get the job done. i myself switched from intel because AMD CPU's offer great performance for a lower price

Yeah cheers undying89 but its just i'd say price to performance ratio on the 8350 is pretty sweet compared to any intel processor and it means getting a new motherboard which to be fair is just more money im gonna have to got with coolboy951 i will probably get the 8350 thanks anyway got everthing i needed all brilliant support

like i said the fx 8350 is powerful i have a fx 8320 and radeon 7950 3gb boost and i run bf4 on ultra 1080p with over 70 fps on 64 man servers, which is amazing .
